English rockstar Roger Waters will perform at the Madison Square Garden on Tuesday 30th August 2022. The performance is part of Roger’s “This Is Not a Drill” 2022 trek, which began on 6th July and wraps up on 8th October. The artist was scheduled to perform last year, but the tour could not go ahead. Fans are very excited because it is finally happening, and they do not want to miss out on the legendary Roger Waters. Waters will perform at some iconic destinations in addition to New York, which include San Francisco, Denver, L.A and many more. Huge demand for his concerts meant that the artist had no option but to add additional dates to the original schedule. However, you will still miss out if you’re late in getting tickets so better be safe, and buy them right now!
Everybody who is a rock music fan knows about Roger Waters. The artist began his career with arguably one of the greatest music acts of all time, Pink Floyd. Waters had quite a successful solo career as well, which started sometime around 1985. His debut album paved the way for his incredible commercial success as a solo artist. Roger Waters has four Grammy nominations and is regarded as one of the greatest rock artists of all time. His contributions to the industry led to his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
Waters has made history with his concerts. In 1990, he was part of one of the biggest rock concerts of all time at The Wall – Live in Berlin, which housed almost 450,000 fans. Every tour he has ever been on has featured several sold-out performances, whether with a band or solo. His “This is Not a Drill” tour is expected to be no different. The delay has already excited fans and they’re looking to storm venues again. If you’re a fan of Roger Waters, you seriously need to purchase tickets ASAP because they could be sold out very soon!
