Madison Square Garden
New York, New York! Madison Square garden music maniacs who love mountains and EVERYTHING you can’t get while in the middle of Midtown - how ya feeling out there?! How was the summer?? Question - do you remember what you were doing ten years ago today?? Maybe on your way to college or hanging with friends on the first Friday of high school football season - or maybe discovering a brand new artist in your best friend’s car. No matter WHAT you were doing, we gotta celebrate the passage of time. So a ten year anniversary concert - sign us up!
Coming right here to the biggest stage in the land on Thursday September 17th - Mt.Joy, our indie rock lovers from the west coast’s sunniest city - Mt.Joy is here taking on Manhattan, and what better way than a ten year anniversary show to commemorate all the good times we’ve had with the crew.
Tickets for the night’s Dirty Love are on sale NOW and starting at $70. You know what to do - see you soon!
New York City… we aren’t sure if y’all are ready for this one. After a LOOONGGG summer of hanging out and going all around the city going out and getting all nostalgic as September finally gets back into swing. SO, all we’ve got to ask now is - Do You Remember?! ‘Cause come the middle of the month,, we’re OFFICIALLY taking indie band love to the arena. After a summer packed with can’t-miss moments, iconic nights, and shows that had us texting the rave group chat “okay this show actually changed my life,” we’re circling back to that same energy on Thursday, September 17th in permanent marker. Why? Because Mt. Joy is making their Madison Square Garden debut, and this one is a can’t miss. It’s a career milestone first off, but also a celebration of their 10 years in the game. So yes - we’re planning weeks in advance and putting out our perfect fit for the night. We got a spot on the world tour for a reason - so don’t be missing this one and getting major FOMO, okay?! Okay! And whether you’re a seasoned Garden Go-getter for any show we throw or you’re stepping into this legendary room for the very first time ever - welcome. You chose the right night.
So - maybe you remember hearing Mt.Joy back in 2015, but we’ll forgive you if it’s been a while since you last heard Lemon Tree. Mt. Joy’s rise from indie darlings to newfound arena headliners has been somewhat surreal - first coming in from indie bands to bar night heroes to theatres and all the way to stadiums - this is like a victory lap and a love letter rolled into one. The band originally formed by longtime friends Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper - and then expanded into the five-piece powerhouse for the modern day. And they did it all the old school way - aka hella touring, unforgettable live shows in the rain and beaming sun, and songs that feel like they’ve been part of your life longer than they actually have. This run celebrates their most recent era, anchored by the latest album Hope We Have Fun. So what better way to bring it in than an an iconic 60,000 person room to top it all off - well, except you of course!
So New York - call the crew and lock in a fit that feels oh so 2010s. And then - get ready for the moment of a lifetime. We’ll see you on the dance floor, screaming out every word.
